I hope they have two walls, labeled “upsetting” and “disturbing”, I haven’t looked though the files myself because I really want to avoid disturbing without any warning.

Wow that is not only predatory, but incredibly unsafe for the girl. They should be charged for inciting harassment, if she had any of that or not.

That is amazingly myopic wow

Cheeto likely has compromat on him
Things that can be weaponized should always be subjected to scrutiny like this.
Firework sales are banned in some places because they are explosives and they require a licence. It was decided that any level of use is too dangerous for untrained people. Do I have a personal stash of fireworks in my basement? Yes. Am I allowing anyone with an Internet connection to sample the use of my fireworks? No.
Your examples of applications vs technologies is flawed, as the creation and or distribution of those technologies you mentioned are very mature and have restrictions in their creation and use. I can’t build a bridge and let anybody use it. I can’t put a camera wherever I want either. People are harmed by misuse.
If you want to claim that there is no harm, read that first paragraph again and view it through the lens of media that a person consumes while developing. Is allowing the tool to underrepresent certain children and hamper their ability to portray their peers something that we want to happen? Is that inability to portray diversity harmful? Should we restrict that use in some way?
Personal gratification as an asocial thing, we can all agree that everyone should have a choice how they want that to be. Personal gratification is rarely completely that way though. Media is a source of expression and a focal point for shared experiences. In a social environment this tool can be inherently inequitable or used to abuse each other.
Heh
Yup on all counts.

I don’t know, what’s the point of the more expensive stations these are comparable to?

I don’t know where you are getting this 1km cluster idea from.
The point of cheaper radar systems is that you don’t need to defend them as much, because destroying them requires equipment that’s more expensive than the radar station. They overlap, and the locating that they provide can both protect the stations themselves and other targets in their coverage area.
How are those tanks going to maneuver undetected without air support?

Basically you deny enemy armor and other infantry support into the area you are working in, which means the infantry can’t operate effectively in that area.

The drone operator would be in the radar station’s LOS, even if this thing couldn’t detect a drone, which it can…

Yeah I should correct myself
Finding them isn’t the hard part you are right. Finding a spot that you can shoot them from without being exposed yourself is the hard part. The range on an unguided howitzer is much less than radar, and the guided ones are more than $20,000 and the accurate range is not much longer than the cheap radar.

study claiming something is safe is not sufficient to determine it is safe, this is the dumbest fucking argument I have had in a long time
Yooo same!

trust the establishment
Working at a university is part of the “establishment”? What the fuck does that even mean
I wouldn’t say it’s not bad because of a study and “experts.”
That means you are dumb, the group of them have the collective experience of over 100 years of academic and research work. These people are the literal definition of experts.
Your lack of any actual investigation means that your suspicion is something that the rest of us should not trust.

Missed opportunity for the Pope to rid us of the Antichrist

The Internet might just be the only way to call for help.

Yeah, the choice was bad or worse, and people chose worse. Life sucks sometimes, they need to grow up.
Once politicians start to decry it, it’s too late.
