I recently watched a video about the first electronic synthesizer. It was built in 1897, and was housed in the basement of an entire city block in NYC. Several decades later, and it would fit in a suitcase, with far more functionality. It worked, but it was huge and unwieldly, to the point of being completely impractical. It needed to wait until the technology caught up to it, and made it a truly viable instrument, and not just a concept.

Data Centers are like that 1897 synthesizer. It works, sure, but at what cost? It’s expensive in every way, from the building costs, the energy costs, the environmental costs, etc. We have a concept and a prototype, but not a truly viable product yet. Maybe in a decade or two, with a proper goal in mind, we can get there, but right now, Data Centers are just that big, dumb synthesizer that takes up a city block.

The money is just a distraction. The real value in this “settlement” is that it gives forever immunity for Trump, his family, and their henchmen. It literally makes them fully above all laws, for the rest of their lives.

I think that’s what they were trying to say, and it just got garbled.

The ocean is already warming, and these guys want to heat it up even more? Didn’t these guys watch Day After Tomorrow? Because this is how we start a new ice age.

It’s worse than that. I’m my area, they found that the company that manages the cameras had timed them to film a little longer than the yellow, so they were capturing a small, but significantly higher number of fraudulent violations.

Then when they added cameras to school zone signs, it was found that they activated outside of the official school zones, also giving them a huge profit windfall.

These companies are predatory and parasitic, and EVERY time they do this stuff, they manage to make a mistake that benefits them, at our expense.

He’s definitely going to run. EVERYBODY is going to run, and the Progressives are going to do the best.

Exactly. As they’re going on and on about how we can’t allow a nuclear-armed Iran, I’m thinking that we probably shouldn’t allow US to have a nuclear weapon.

It’s starting to look like the INEVITABLE option by the day. I don’t see how just having the Dems take control of the government is going to do much if you have MAGA in the background causing all sorts of mayhem, funded by TRILLIONAIRES. We saw it during the Biden administration, and since it actually worked, it will be 1000x worse the next time.

MAGA has to be decisively crushed and purged from our government and our society, and the Sociopathic Oligarchs’ fortunes and behavior heavily regulated.

Look at the map. Taiwan is a miniscule island, extremely close to the Chinese coastline. If they wanted to take it by force, we wouldn’t stand a chance in getting it back. Our supply lines stretch for thousands of miles. Theirs are…right over there.

Yeah, this guy is the perfect scapegoat to hang the entire issue on. Then they can say they dealt with it, and move on.

Like betting on military operations. There were a ton of bets that originated from the White House, but we only heard about that one guy. Once they arrested him, it was like the whole thing was solved, and all those White House people who made millions can breathe easy.
